    Unable to Login NA Data Center on Any of My Characters.

    Hello,

    I have been encountering an error every time I try to login to North America data center (where my main is). Every time I select "Start game" it loads into an error with the code "3084" And says:
    "Your character data is currently being transferred. This may take several minutes, or in some cases, more than an hour. Please wait and try login again after."

    I have not been able to login NA for a week now. I have alts on OCX and JP and it gives me the same error there as well.


    Reached out to support and searched all FAQ and nothing is helpful. I have tried closing out all of my background applications, allowed the application through firewall and even uninstalled and re-installed the game (steam)

    This has been going on for almost a week and I was hopeful that maintenance would solve the problem and sadly it has not.

    Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    The described issue may have something to do with your locally-saved settings. Please go to 'My Documents' > 'My Games' > 'Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn' and delete that folder. If there are any corrupted files that are associated only with that character, this will get rid of them. Right click on the folder itself after deleting the contents, if it is set as read only, please uncheck that and re-launch Final Fantasy XIV.

    If this does not solve the issue, try doing a clean boot. To do a clean boot simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

    Please be sure to install the game to the C: drive as this works best with Final Fantasy XIV. Lastly, please be sure that no background processes are interfering with FFXIV (i.e. Anti-virus software, OneDrive, Discord etc.)

    This is a Bug that a few players have been getting (error 3084), rare, but since the Region Travel has been added it seems more players are getting it.

    You will need to go to this forum section here: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/632 and check the first Thread in that forum for information regarding Bug detail reporting. Copy the template in the second post and fill out as much information as requested, as you can.

    Once you've posted your thread in that forum, the Dev team monitor it so you will get the best assistance and hopefully a resolution.
    This forum section here, is for general technical issues and its only Moderated, not checked or assisted by the Dev.

    Edit: By the way, don't post in other peoples Bug report posts, the Mod will ignore or delete your posts, only make a new Thread and if asked, reply in it, goodluck!
