It's not as simple as "get some DDoS protection" - I'm sure that SE, like every business with servers, has as much DDOS "protection" as they can get. But these attacks are variable and random, and they've having to analyze what's happening as it happens in order to understand and stop it.

I gave up. You might as well count today as a loss. Game will die in less than six hours for a scheduled server maintenance. If you scheduled a day off to enjoy the game today, you're pretty much kaput!

Always one what? Person that maybe did a 5 second google search to understand u can't block or protect against these kind of attacks? At least in any normal company....

I can't even login all I get is a spinning circle. Why hasn't SE done anything to prevent these DDoS attacks.

It's getting worse. I could get in for a few minutes at a time earlier. Now simply cannot get out of the lobby.
