Seems to be fixed now, after about 12 hours after maintenance ended today. I've succesfully logged in on my character on Louisoix and many of my friends with issues have confirmed being able to log in on Chaos.
I'm still upset at no public announcement at any point from SE acknowledging the issue, but I'd like to thank the people who fixed it! In the future, I hope our issues on the European datacenters warrant a public acknowledgement. We are a community of your game. We are deserving of your attention and respect, because we give your game our attention, respect and money. Thank you again for fixing the issue.

Communication with community did not exist in this case and thats a shame Square Enix.
Seriously, it would not have killed them to post a simple message acknowledging the issue. In fact it would probably help reduce the workload of their support staff...



Makes me wonder if what happened on chaos had happened on a JP DC how many apologies and how quickly this would've been resolved.
21 hours of total downtime excluding the time the game was unplayable yesterday![]()


My guess is that the EU datacenter teams need the japanese confirmation to do anything, and since it's the night during hours game wise busy hours, we get the short straw when this kind of things happens.



Well, that's actually a plausible explanation....Still disappointing but oh well, sucks to be us...

Upon checking, it would appear that this may be due to the recent technical difficulties the Chaos Data Center has experienced.
