Issues Logging into Chaos/Light

Current solution if you're on Chaos, rightclick your name in Character Menu, click on transfer datacenter, pick Light and one of the worlds, I was able to login into Alpha without problems so far~!

weirder still... I can log in on any character on my account on Chaos, my other half cant. I even tried logging into his account on my pc, no dice. Only difference between our accounts? I use a OTP.

The datacenter travel fixed my connection problem 90002, but if I go back to Moogle, it doesn't connect

I have this issue with some chars on Omega, and other chars on Omega log in just fine. Please acknowledge and fix.

I can confirm that I'm having no luck logging onto Chaos, however I can DC travel and login to Light no problem. My stay on Light has been quite stable so far. However I'd like to return home to access my retainers/mail, so hopefully it'd be fixed.

It feels like Chaos might be having some technical issues? It's so odd that people are giving mixed reports like being able to log in certain characters, or newly created characters being fine.

I encourage people to go and also post here. It's a thread on the Technical Issues forums. It could be that Chaos is under some DDoS or there's some technical issues, since we got nothing from SE after the maint, all we could do is speculate...

the amount of people that dont understand this when we get an update to say things are resolved literally every time is astounding

The DDoS doesn't explain why some of us have characters that can log in, and others that cannot.
It also doesn't really explain why we can't login on Chaos but we can on Light.

There can exist more than one problem at the same time.

I think people know currently the DDoS is ongoing and feel that this might be unrelated to it, perhaps due to the addition of the new EU DC something went wrong. We don't know. Yes we can assume this is a DDoS but it also could be something on SE's end.

It certainly doesn't explain why some characters work and others don't on the same account, why new characters are fine, etc etc, perhaps you have an explanation?

I personally haven't experienced a DDoS that was this bad in all my years playing the game, so it feels more like a technical issue but this is my unprofessional opinion.
