Maybe someone got mad that BLU mages were messing up Yokai event fate farms, No issues here on NA but went to D/c travel to OCE and it started, So Best bet its still ongoing and SE will figure it out.

I don't think a single event with gaudy weapons is going to make someone that mad, however, entire fcs and communities being decimated because a large number of people can't pay for the game anymore and stand to lose years of progress and friendships? That could be it.
