The ONE Deal-Breaking Feature You MUST Have

Well, it's kind of a 1-2 deal because the two go hand in hand with me.

PVP, and the ability to move my character by pressing both mouse buttons. I don't like wasd or arrow keys, and would rather just jump over something and do a 180 than move backwards...

Edit.. OK I lied, it's 1-2-3 cause it also implies being able to jump with the spacebar.

My deal breaker: If the game doesn't have some awesome open world content and I find it's far too many instances. I will probably hang up my hat. Just never been a fan of everything I do being in a timed/instanced box. I like Instanced content...just not having everything as one is somewhat nice.

Servers and an engine that is not garbage are the main issue, but supposedly that is to be fixed in 2.0. So, assuming those are fixed, the deal breaker is FUN.


I almost never see it brought up and it seems like some sort of symptom of how this community operates and how progress-driven this game and XI have been, but it's a video game. I do not care if it runs great or if the story is amazing, nor do I care if the graphics are beautiful. All of that will fall and be meaningless of there is no content that is ENJOYABLE to do. The game must be FUN. It can be hard as all hell but if it is not fun then hard is just a pointless waste of time and effort.

I don't think anyone should be wasting the life they have to live on a game that brings them no enjoyment or happiness, but instead is like slaving away in the coal mines for that weekly $5 check that someday maybe you'll save up for that diamond ring that's so coveted by everyone.


I'd also say the community getting over their "I hate every other MMO ever" thing but I don't think that will ever happen.

Make selling things easier, not having to have a note pad at hand to write down current prices to then run back to my retainer and set the items for sale would be great!

I guess my deal-breaker (though not really because I'll still play) is PvP. I'm not asking for it to be copy and paste from WoW but I loved their PvP. I hope we have things like capture the flag etc... I could go on all day about pvp lol, but I'll just say I really hope a lot is put into it.

I like 2 things tanking and stealth-like classes. I dont really play any other roles. That being said, If Tanking were a 1, then being a thief/ninja would be a 10. So basically what Im saying is that sooner or later (not too late, otherwise I might stop playing and come back later) I will have to have a thief or ninja or both (even if thats basically what they are but named differently).

Deal Breaker = No Thief or Ninja class

Soloution = Mke a Thief or Ninja class. :b
