Hey there - in the future whenever there's issues with the game... you may want to check Lodestone first to see if there's been something posted by SE saying they're experiencing issues... especially if there's been +10 posts prior to yours, saying they're having the same issue. SE posted about this yesterday morning informing the community they're being DDoS'd, they just haven't provided an update since: https://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...a3ebfcad59d31c

While this doesn't fully explain why you can log onto a main character, but alt characters on the same server (or vice versa), one can assume it's due to the above mentioned issues...

Have you tried running Vanaspati on your other characters to ensure it's only your main that is having the issue with running the dungeon?

This has nothing to do with the maintanance - the DDoS occured previously. Maybe youre Character is stuck in the instance server. You should contact SE Support directly as error 90002 is a server error.
Technical Forums will not help you here i think.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

If this is only affecting one character, then it may be something to do with your locally-saved settings. Go to 'My Documents' > 'My Games' > 'Final Fantasy XIV' and delete that folder. If there are any corrupted files that are associated only with that character, this will get rid of them.

If this does not solve the issue, try updating your graphics card drivers and doing a clean boot. To do a clean boot simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

Please be sure to install the game to the C: drive as this works best with Final Fantasy XIV. Lastly, please be sure that no background processes are interfering with FFXIV (i.e. Anti-virus software, OneDrive, Discord etc.)

Thank you once again for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
