If it is a DOS, they chose a great time as everything is going down for maintenance tonight anyways.

Except that DC isn't letting people hop over there, at least on my end. It gives me a weird error message that says I don't have a free character space to do so (I only have 2 characters), and some other people have gotten the same message.

Same on Exodus. I got Dc'd 3 times this morning. Looking at this tracker it seems all NA servers are having ping and packet issues. The green online dot changes to brown and when you hover over it says ping and packet loss issues. Oceanian had the same issue as well. https://is.xivup.com/

I keep disconnecting on Malboro every minute or two, kicking me with all types of errors like 2002, 90006 or 90002.

Same issue here on Primal(Lamia) d/c 3 times in about 10 min and joined a dungeon where 1 person was d/c

Okay my previous issue got solved... Somehow. I can get onto Materia at least? Lol
