Unable to log in on main character. Able to log in on other alts. (Error 90002)

I tried logging on with my main and kept getting the "Connection with the server was lost. 90002" error. I am able to see my character on the character selection screen and try logging in but after entering the queue I keep getting this error. I have tried logging off, restarting, and shutting off my PS4 and trying again after waiting an hour but I still run into the same issue.

I am able to log in on all my other alts so this issue seems isolated to my main for some reason.

I did log off in a hurry after teleporting prior to encountering this issue. I wonder if this is related to the problem.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

If this is only affecting one character, then it may be something to do with your locally-saved settings. Go to 'My Documents' > 'My Games' > 'Final Fantasy XIV' and delete that folder. If there are any corrupted files that are associated only with that character, this will get rid of them.

If this does not solve the issue, try updating your graphics card drivers and doing a clean boot. To do a clean boot simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

Please be sure to install the game to the C: drive as this works best with Final Fantasy XIV. Lastly, please be sure that no background processes are interfering with FFXIV (i.e. Anti-virus software, OneDrive, Discord etc.)

Thank you once again for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
