A request to SE, Please bring the DT benchmark Character creator to Playstation/Xbox

You can download the benchmark on any Windows device that's capable of at least rendering the character creator. You do not need to own the device. As long as it's said device with reasonable internet download speed, you can give it a go that way.

Again, not saying everyone has a PC or even PC access, but the number of people in the non PC access subgroup is likely so small vs the majority of players that it's simply not worth the resource allocation, as others have presumed, which also includes actually getting this thing onto PSN/XBM.

The absolute tiny fraction of console players who cannot access a PC at all (you don’t even need it to be your own you can literally download it on a university or library PC then delete it after) are not enough to justify bringing the benchmark to consoles considering the benchmark half is already useless and the CC can be rendered by a literal potato

As a PS5 player whose PC recently bricked, much as I'd love to have a DT character creator to play with, I think it's still not worth it to produce and then go through the xbox/psn approval process when the number of people like me are likely small. Especially in the current circumstances of them trying to get a second version of the benchmark out.

Given that the benchmark was always going to be a work in progress (they said on the lodestone when it dropped that they were going to be continuing to tweak things), I suspect they underestimated how big of a deal seeing the graphical update on your character would be this time around. Unfortunately the logistics of these things aren't simple and bringing a character creator app to consoles is something that likely needs to be planned ahead of time. Even then, I'm not sure it'd be worth the extra resources.

For what it's worth, I gave a list of my character creation options to a friend and she put them into the benchmark character and came back with screenshots and a video. I got to see how my character looks. Maybe ask around your friends to see if somebody is happy to do this for you?

As a PS5 player I would love this and have often said it should be implemented. So it is a thumbs up from me ^^

I think it would be cool just so they give the PC benchmark controller support (i play on PC with a controller)

As a ps5 player (and ps4 before it) without a pc, I would really appreciate it. For the longest time I witnessed how my screenshots are different from my friends on pc (without any mods) depending on their system etc. so I have very limited understanding of how my characters would look on ps5 even after asking my friend to re-create them on their machine. Not to mention that not everyone has a friend like that to begin with.
I also have to give feedback or report bugs I personally noticed with my character setup and it is quite troublesome to gather it while not having a direct access to the benchmark.
Am I expected to wait til release to be able to report them naturally?
