Too bad. It's a PC exclusive so deal with it.As the title says this is a simple request for the charecter creator that is in the Benchmark to be brought over to consoles as a demo, akin to Dragons Dogma 2's charecter creator, so that we can also look at the new graphics change on our displays and save our designs that we make in the CC to use on dawntrail's launch.
Before anyone says "the benchmark is to stress test PC set ups" I understand this, however with the slight changes to charecter designs and the graphics engine update I think it is fair for everyone to be able to see the changes.
Not funny when someone does it to you now, huh?
Often their reason for playing it on an Xbox is that they couldn't on a PC. If they can't on a PC then the benchmark would also be difficult.
wow.
WOW.
Owning an xbox does not mean you have a PC or laptop with similar specs.
And why the hell would you even use the benchmark on PC if you're planning on playing it on XBox?
Except an estimated 90% of households in the US own some kind of PC and that is also where the Xbox brand is concentrated, extremely specifically.
You don't need extremely specs to run the benchmark. Have a nice day.
There is absolutely no reason to get so aggressive over this by the way.
Especially since you are wrong.
Because you don’t need the benchmark on Xbox because it’s designed to run at consistent settings on consoles because they can be internally tested by square enix
The only part of the benchmark to really need on consoles is the character creator which can be run on a potato you have sitting at home
Actually using the benchmark on consoles is pointless because square designs around the consoles being acceptable specs
I should literally not need to specify that downloading the benchmark allows you to run the character creator. I never said console players should be running the benchmark to test their rig. I'm answering the thread...the thread asks about seeing your character and you can do that, for free, if you happen to have a basic PC or laptop/tablet.
"Some kind" of PC doesn't necessarily mean one with a GPU or that meet the requirements to run DT.
Multiple Xbox players have mentioned how they stopped playing it on a PC or didn't try it, and I think they implied it was because they just got tired of upgrading their PC always.
Also it could be the 10%!![]()
Please show me where the topic became about needed high spec PCs to run the benchmark. The CC is 10+ years old. Virtually anyone can download it and use it effectively. What are you even talking about??"Some kind" of PC doesn't necessarily mean one with a GPU or that meet the requirements to run DT.

You should just have just read my post, which is helpful, and said "oh". It literally isn't an argument. It's a fact. If you have even the most basic of machines, you can download and use the benchmark for the character creator...

This thread is proof that people will just nitpick about anything just to argue.
For the actual request the OP made, having the character creator on XBOX/Playstation, I think it's a great idea, and I think it would increase hype on those systems for DT. Of course the benchmark is pointless, that's not the point of this request.
