Seems like they’re doing the same thing they’re doing with the exist jobs… they have plans for next time around, and we got some big flashy 100 level skills, but everything is kind of in a transition phase to whatever they’re planning to do in 8.0, which will supposedly lean more into the job identities.

That said, they probably didn’t want to make Picto more overwhelming to learn, being that it will start at 80. I’m really hoping PCT and SMN will see more summons in 8.0. The wait will feel like forever though!
