Petition for Spanish Translation of Final Fantasy XIV

Imagine all the Warriors of Light we could reach with a Spanish translation! Let's make it happen!

Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world - it's a shame we don't already have a Spanish version! Especially with Dawntrail being so heavily inspired by regions that many Spanish speakers call home, it's high time that our Spanish speaking WOLs around the world get to experience the game in their own language and help introduce FFXIV to an even wider community.

I think this game deserves significantly more localizations. Would help a lot of players have an enjoyment of this game!

It honestly boggles my mind that this game doesn't have at least Spanish language text by now.
We have:
Japanese (~123 million speakers worldwide)
English (~1.456 billion speakers worldwide)
German (~133 million speakers worldwide)
French (~310 million speakers worldwide)

But NOT
Spanish (~559 million speakers worldwide)

I'm sure there's a business-y reason as to why lots of games don't have Spanish translations, but dammit, even if people can play in another language, they deserve the right to choose a Spanish translation! I was really hoping there'd be an announcement when Yoshi P went to the Brasil Game Show. You have this silly monolingual's support, everyone! I hope we can get this game translated into Spanish soon.

Even though I barely speak Spanish (but am very much Mexican/Spanish) I would love to not only have Spanish text, but voice overs as well. I feel like so many scenes would sound like a novella, and it would give me reason to learn the language again!



Id even be willing to play the game from the beginning with Spanish options.
