anyone else getting sudden lag spikes?

Greetings!
I contemplated whether or not I wanted to make this post because I chalked it up to being just my internet connection. I use a public connection so I knew there would be times where I would experience problems. But then I spoke to a few other people and at least one other person is sharing my problems- though mine look a bit different (the other person apparently only have frame rate problems as it dips into 1 fps, sometimes 0 fps).
Is anyone else having connection issues? If so, what is your datacenter (I'm on Aether)?
What happens if everything suddenly stops moving: my rotation ceases and enemies and other players are suddenly standing still but the game is technically still progressing. It is periodic and momentary but can be problematic if I am in the middle of a FATE and targeting more than 3 enemies at once (trying to get mount speed tomes so I am leveling shared FATEs).
The purpose of this thread is to parse if anyone else is having this problem.

Edit: I have taken multiple tests and my internet is fine

Lags on Aether seem to be common.


Hopefully it's due to everyone having to go to Aether for end-game content, and it's lighting a fire under the devs butt to get cross DC Duty/Party Fidner going ASAP.

Ah I see. Well, that's annoying. Once in a while I'll have moments of everything freezing but today is particularly bad.

I have sometimes contemplated transferring Data Centers. Unsure if I really want to or not

Aether just had some massive lag spikes not long ago, while I was running a dungeon. I thought it was my end at first, til all my party members commented on it, and novice network people started talking about it too. Luckily no disconnects.
