Tail ON/OFF idea!

Hello,

i love all the species what the game have, but my all time favorite is miqo'te. Since the tail while most of the time its okay, there are these cloths when its absolutly looks awful, for example Clive's outfit and mostly cloths with cape.

And there's my idea to the races what has tail (miqo'te, hrothgar, au ra) to make a switch to tail display on/off. If we look into as a lore, we can explain it with the character wrapped it around his/her waist.

So what do you think? Its an impossibble task, idea or a possibble future feat?

I would support a wrapped tail on/off switch, like maybe you can see a tail tied off really close to the body in the back or at least a small bulge. But not a completely missing one. It's a racial feature. I don't feel it should be amputated outright.

Even a bobbed tail! like a lil bobcat like nub for the tailed races as if it were chopped off or just stunted.

How about a lowered tail option that makes it look like its coming from under coats and cloaks rather than clip through them?

Lowered tail option would be cool.
Or they could just design some gear with tails in consideration a bit more. It's certainly not impossible at least, for example, the Radiant's Scale Mail of Fending has a tail guard that rested atop the tail, but not sure if this is the case with any other tailed race since I've only used it on Au Ra.

So long as it means that I can always opt to stop having my tail/ears amputated sure, though i'd prefer this ↓

Tails are an important part of several races and hacking them off always feels wrong to me. (and the tail wrap works in cartoons, but imo it doesn't look natural in more realistic depictions, especially since some models have shorter tails that won't fit all the way around, and because we can customize the length so that would likely require a different animation control scheme than what we currently have or else we're going to get bisected by our tails)

I'd rather see more effort put into accommodating tails than just a toggle to turn them off.
A tail-less tailed race is basically just a Hyur at that point.
