Unable to use Visa debit (north American)

Also in America, also with a visa debit card and it won't take my card. I tried amazon pay and got
"You cannot use this function. Please contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center for additional details. Error Code: i2501"

that btw is not the same error I was getting with debit card. In my case it just kept cycling back and never gave a code

Yeah I initially got "Card Unavailable" and then error code i2501 when I tried swapping to Amazon.

This is the same company that has the gall to whine about its "Extraordinary Losses" after investing unholy amounts of money into dogshit products and NFTs for god's sakes, now they're also causing a bunch of problems with a primary way to consume one of their biggest cash cows and they're still going surprise pikachu as to why this is the way things still are. I have absolutely no sympathy for their losses when stuff like the mogstation is still barbaric and archaic even before this most recent shit storm. I want to believe they'll actually fix it but why would I?

Well they made an announcement in the JP forums about this so it seems it was just a bug.

So they will make an announcement on NA/EU in 3-5 working days depending on bank holidays and star signs.

Seems fixed but let's see if my sub lapses on the 9th.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow evening, I'm giving it 24 hours as I'm pretty sure I triggered fraud prevention on the Mogstation by trying to use 2 different payment types so it won't let me use any form of payment atm. Fingers crossed!

Also for anyone curious I spoke to my bank and had 0 pending or cancelled charges so their system hadn't attempted to take any money, so it was 100% on Square's end.

Still can't make any payment with card available tested it again allows my mother's visa master card but won't allow my debit visa card no errors just card unavailable is shown
