    I’ve been using visa-debit for 9 years to sub. I had my sub on 30 days auto reoccurring, I’m not sure why it didn’t go through. I found out I wasn’t subbed by trying to log in smh. I tried to resub but it said card unavailable, I changed my addy thinking that was answer but it still says card unavailable… Free me SE

    Did you purchase anything off of mogstation recently? If you do, it automatically kicks you off the old payment processor and onto the new one, which will not work with Visa Debit. My sub just went through 5/14 with the Visa Debit I've had on file for years because I am still on the old processor and haven't purchased anything on Mogstation. The moment I do, I am screwed. So I won't be.

    Well if this situation happens to prevent me from playing DT and enjoying early access, I will quit this game. Period.

    I'll no longer have my happiness held for ransom by some stupid decision SE made with a new processer. What was wrong with the old one? Worked great.

    It's SE, and their payment system since FF11, it will take long time for them to actually fix it, better get use with game time card from now on

    Just had this issue happen to me in the strangest way possible. My sub + premium app went through today just fine but it didn't charge me for retainers. Weird, so I go and try and fix it but it errors out every time I try saying I need to re-register my payment method. Okay no big deal, I go to do that and now it won't accept my payment method that literally just worked today?? So I went and got $5 in crysta so I could at least get my retainer back but NOPE. Turns out, retainers are linked to your payment method so if my sub was paid by debit then the retainers *have* to be as well and there is no crysta option. So now I'm out $5 and can't even re-up one of my retainers for at least a month.

    SE has *got* to fix these issues ASAP. I know there's work-arounds to buy your sub like Amazon Pay but we shouldn't *have* to be doing that. Its ridiculous.

    EDIT: Just to clarify, I use VISA Debit from the USA. Its been working for months. I've triple-checked my address and everything.

    So my auto renewal sub went through fine after their processor change. I purchased something on Mogstation with Amazon Pay (since my card no longer works) afterward... I guess I'll see if it messed up my sub in 10 days, lol.

    This is a pretty awful solution, but if you aren't able to use amazon or paypal, are you able to get a credit card to pay for your sub time? My debit and credit card are from the same bank but only the debit card doesn't work, but the credit does. I hate having to suggest people get a credit card, but that was the only thing that worked for me. Just make sure to immediately pay off the credit card's balance so you don't get hit with interest or anything.

    I don't want to give false hope if I'm mistaken, and I'm not sure if this would apply to us, but there was an announcement on the Japanese side of the forums: It mentioned an update to the "Payment Agency's System". https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...B%285-21-22%29
    I had to use google translate to figure out what it was saying. I do not know if this is affecting us or not, or if this is a quiet solution to the problem that hasn't been passed along to be announced in any other language than Japanese.

    Well, I guess that means check on the 22nd and try again.

    Banks are slow to do anything, so my guess is that there list of valid debit card banks was out of date, or the cards are triggering a "requires PIN" that the bank doesn't understand, that a credit card doesn't trigger.
