SQEX Attempt to Eradicate "Foreigners" from JP Server by BLOCKING/Convolute PAYMENT.

Gaijinocide is currently happening in mostly SEA countries since it's not listed/recognized by Sqex. This is also affecting people that migrating from their previous country, since they won't allow you to change country.

Some countries can use Paypal to buy Crysta but for my case, it's giving 11000 error and Crysta option is permanently unavailable.

The only option is game time card, but it's overpriced for an already weak currency in my region. As it forced you to sub for 60 days, retailer costs, and Standard sub instead of Entry. On top of that, some people trying to sub with game time card also met with page asking for address (I can't verify this yet, not planning to resub atm).

I personally think isn't an honest mistake from their part and 100% intended. As their Notice from weeks ago is clear with their intention. But I hope I'm wrong and Sqex will rollback and fix their payment system.

edit: For people that don't believe my "tinfoil hat" theory, please come up with a more logical and sensible reason why Sqex suddenly block payment so close to DT.

Mostly because if it is, it would be really, really effin' stupid. Because literally nothing is stopping say an NA player from making a character a JP DC, since unlike say WoW there is no necessity to have separate game accounts for each region.

The difference is, NA player have place in NA to play on their own server, it's not a problem for them if NA doesn't have reason to play in JP and can't speak their language. SEA region doesn't have and the only destination is JP, we "have to" play in JP.

What you don't seem to understand, and wasn't able to penetrate the tinfoil you've wrapped your head in, is that North American and European players can readily make characters on Japanese data centers and play there should they wish. Obviously, the payment processor move has nothing to do with keeping foreign players off the Japanese data center. If, in conjunction with the change to their payment processor, they locked people to their home data centers you might have a leg to stand on.

Either find a way to pay with a method of payment accepted by the store or resign yourself to having to buy gamecards.

Considering Japan still uses fax machines like it's 1990s and the website feels like it's stuck in that era, don't think it's any of that you mentioned. All you have to do is look at Technical Support and see how many people have similar issues with that matter. It's just all potato got mashed up but isn't tasteful.

Tinfoil or not, the fact is NA/EU able to play in JP is not a problem for them because there is no reason to unless you have a friend. NA/EU never caused problems in JP DC unlike SEA.
You can play in JP right now, but do you need to? No you don't, so does 99.9% of NA/EU population. Just because you can, doesn't mean you need to.

I've playing in Japan for years and I'm in NA.

Frankly I think the test for Materia Regional Travel is the opening for having that travel everywhere.
