No legacy mark on my character ?

So I bought the collectors edition of 1.0, created a character on Excalibur server and played during the free 30 day trial. I didn't enjoy the game back then so I stopped playing after. Come ARR, I made a new character in Siren and was given the onion helm. I deleted my old character in Excalibur. I didn't realize that 1.0 characters would have the legacy mark.

Fast forward years later, I attempted to recover my deleted character, and while the GMs were able to locate my character, they said this account does not qualify for legacy status, not even the legacy mark.

From what I understand, the only requirement to get the legacy mark was to have a character created in 1.0, which I did, but why are the GMs telling me that I don't qualify?

You had to reach a certain point and also maybe have subbed, from what I recall.

I couldn't tell you what script or flowchart the GMs are looking at to determine that you don't qualify, but the only requirement for the legacy mark is that the character was created during 1.x and carried over after 2.0 beta4/early access.

the legacy mark only shows up on characters created in 1.0 i myself am a legacy player and the mark only shows up on my main character it doesnt show up on any of my alts that i created from 2.0 onward

The legacy tattoo is on any character created in 1.0. This is separate from the legacy campaign which granted the chocobo and reduced sub.

The account doesn't qualify for the mark. The character if restored does, but only that character. It's also not something gms have control over. Either the character has the flag for the mark or it doesn't.

/legacymark will turn it on and off.

Did you try the /legacymark on command and talking to the calamity salvager to retrieve old items?

This tells you what was needed to be a legacy account and I can attest to it since I am a legacy player... if you stopped playing then you are not one

You also had to reach the point of the Lunar transmitter in the story for it as well

This doesn't say anything about the legacy mark though. I'm not looking to get the discounted sub, or the chocobo, i'm just talking about the legacy mark.
