All I'm hearing is the usual I want to be a mentor but only if I get fast easy duties.

You can already! Just dont run MS roulette or Mentor roulette, problem solved!
No, people like you ruined my entire experience of MSQ dungeons in 2017.
I am glad that new story-goers are shielded from your attitude.
No wonder mentor got bad reputation.
My first thought was to put a hard "no" on this. I remember finishing those 2 pieces when I first started the game. I went through the cutscenes, and folks was laughing at one point, because they were so far ahead that they were in a mech. I followed with an axe as I did little damage throwing them as I tried to keep up. I didn't learn any fights whatsoever. So I avoided running it until the unskippable cutscenes were in place. So why remove them now?
However, things have changed. The last part of how we complete ARR has been readjusted. We're not running 8 man parties anymore having to do extra tasks in order to move on. We're running most of this as if it was just another regular dungeon. So I wouldn't mind if cutscenes were skippable again. After all, who in their right minds would try to force skip things with only 3 people, especially without a tank/healer? It's possible. Yet would you take the risk knowing that half of your kit is locked anyways? Just saying.

In the past 1st timers were either bailed, vote kicked or pressured to skip cutscenes. If they are the only reason why they can’t be skipped, then people start to leave, like what is happening in Crystal Tower right now, when people try to get smth via rlt while avoiding some scenarios they don’t want to deal with. If no 1st timers mean no bonus etc - then people will stop wanting to run those rlts. It’s no win/win till the dungeons are designed with the cutscenes in the middle like they still areMy understanding was that the MSQ roulette exists for the benefit of first-timers: to (a) provide reasonable queue times if they'd rather not use duty support -- a perfectly legitimate choice -- while (b) still allowing them to view the story in full. But, for a party of four who've all completed the duty before, what is gained from insisting that they watch the cutscenes again? The roulette rewards can only be collected once per day anyways.
Maybe the worry is that people would get used to the shorter runs and bail if they see a first-timer? Could that be disincentivized with bonus XP/tomestones?
If you don't want to watch the cutscenes then don't, flip the TV or pull up a youtube video, doesn't matter, but MSQ roulette is for first timers and those cutscenes being unskippable is for them as well, so simpler solution if you don't want to watch them again is to not run MSQ, run any other roulette and stop bothering sprouts.
I just make jokes in chat as we wait for the cutscenes. Usually about the cutscenes.

Wow, what a dumpster fire this thread turned into. A lot of y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for being so rude.
