Pls make jobstones mandatory for any group content over lvl 40.

Its not the biggest problem but its an unnecessary one. it happens here and there. People who forget to put in their jobstone. new people who dont know about the importance of a jobstone or even their jobquests overall. and people who want to do no-jobstone challenges.

people who forget: if jobstones would be necessary they will see that when signing up. problem solved.

new people: rather than through rude other people wouldnt it be better if the system tells you about the jobstone? i think giving them leeway til lvl 40 would be perfect.
they could still do the optional lvl 35 and 38 dungeons, thats alright. the problms there are more on the mechanic side anyway.
also put an infobox into msq for jobstones, similar to the infobox for the chocobo, crystal tower and shb role quest.

no-jobstone challenges: make jobstones only necessary if you sign up without a full group. if you go random for a no-jobstone-challenge its not a challenge at all its just a bother to your group, respectless and unpolite. that way people can still make pre-made groups for those challenges.

Make it 30 and make it so you can't accept the first lvl30 MSQ if you haven't done at least one job quest.

Make it from Titan onwards, at the latest. Add a quest in the Company of Heroes chain where they mention that they could only entrust their secrets to a truly exceptional adventurer, prompting the player to get and equip their job stone before continuing.

It's funny, I've seen players who forget their job stones have way better performance than those who spend the entire fight whining about it.

Not saying it wouldn't hurt to put a little notice when registering for duties if someone forgets their crystal (similar to the low durability message). That's probably the least they could do to help mitigate most of the instances of people forgetting.

I want to see people try do to hard content as classes. Savage or Ultimate, without any job stones. If that is even possible.

To be serious, job stones should be made mandatory early on so you can't enter any instance past level 30 without one.

If people want to funhaver without job stones, that's what parties are for. Putting the lock in for standard queuing by 40-ish should be fine and would prevent things like having to heal a Gladiator or Marauder in Stone Vigil (or being healed by a Conjurer). Treat them like a limited job after hat point basically.

Why make it even possible to unequip the job stone? Just have the job stone show on your character when you're in a job with a stone. If you get BRD and then equip a bow, it'll just show that you have a job stone for it. Stones don't actually have to exist as items. It's kind of dumb that they do.

To be fair I just want classes developed into alternative jobs. I would like to play Archer but not deal with annoying Bard Music mechanics, or play as a Rogue and not Ninja. Would be nice if over time we take these classes in different directions. It's never happenning but I would like it.

As for people not equipping stones, I've never had an issue with it, sure they are missing stats and skills but I've never not been able to complete an instance with it. Just let them know they can scoop it up whenever.

They have, it's not really a test of their skill, but everyone else who has to pick up the slack.

Guess this is my stance. Never had my day ruined by missing jobstone, mine or anyone else's.
