This thread is about Travel error 3084 (the same error as a failed paid transfer), did you get this error or a 90001 / 2002?We are having the same issue here. My room mate's acct got renewed with a time card. We tried all the things suggested and just got told to wait... We can't even select different data centers however. It gives us the error no matter what DC we pick. Hoping the maintenance fixes it for us but not getting my hopes up. Really makes me upset they won't reimburse the time or anything. SE has never been this bad and it makes me sad to see. I will cross my fingers for my room mate and you guys as well! Hope they all work right after the downtime!

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
If you have not done so already, please try visiting a different Data Center and/or connecting to a different Data Center and then return to your primary Data Center to see if it helps resolve the issue.
If this is only affecting one character, then it may be something to do with your locally-saved settings. Go to 'My Documents' > 'My Games' > 'Final Fantasy XIV' and delete that folder. If there are any corrupted files that are associated only with that character, this will get rid of them. Right click on the folder itself after deleting the contents, if it is set as read only, please uncheck that and re-launch Final Fantasy XIV.
If this does not solve the issue, try updating your graphics card drivers and doing a clean boot. To do a clean boot simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.
Please be sure to install the game to the C: drive as this works best with Final Fantasy XIV. Lastly, please be sure that no background processes are interfering with FFXIV (i.e. Anti-virus software, OneDrive, Discord etc.)
If the issue persists, unfortunately it may take some time for the servers to update and sync. At that time we would only be able to recommend waiting until they do so.
Thank you once again for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
I have connected on my alt in EU and tried to transfer to NA, it failed. I have cleared the folders as suggested, still the same is happening.Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

My GPU is up to date, and I tried logging in on different PC and Network, still the same is happening, unable to login NA data center.
My game is already on C drive.
And i have been waiting, since 21st of April. I'm hoping next maintenance will fix it, too bad subscription time is ticking though.
I have the exact same problem. The only difference is I transferred a character from EU DC to OC DC for the beta test and am now unable to log into EU and OC DC and any time I try to log into either I get error message 3084. Connecting to NA and JP DC is possible without any issues.
I have tested this on different PCs with wired and wireless internet connections and the error keeps occuring. I was hoping maintenance would fix this, but even after maintenance I still keep getting the same error message.
Popping in to say seems I’ve encountered the same issue. Made my own post before realising you’re on something similar.
Really hope it fixes it because I really don’t wanna miss out on the 16 event because of something out of my control. Not to mention game time being wasted.
Edit; just got my demolition notice for my house too.. 13th or I lose my large house.
Also I'd like to add as a note towards all the same issue OP has, that at least for me.. I had a friend confirm that he can see his characters upon going to the Mogstation Home World Transfer and looking at all the characters he is able to transfer.
Upon looking at mine; I cannot see ANY of my NA or OCE characters. They appear to be in proper limbo.

I have done all suggestions possible in both this thread and my email tickets and bug reports. Still counting since 21st of April and it has yet to resolve itself like mentioned. We will see after this week's maintenance.
I think this issue must be acknowledged under this cross-region beta testing they are doing. it is unfair being unable to do anything about it but wait like suggested.
On another account I am able to play just fine, and I have tried logging in from different network and PC and same issue occurs.
The result of all basic and deep troubleshooting I can do + suggestions told to me by SE support show that the issue is server sided.
I did not even visit OCE more than once and come back to NA just fine too before 21st of April. Now I can only Login EU and Japan where I have no characters.

I've been checking here and on my thread every few hours just in case.
If the maintenance doesn't fix it; I think I might just have to spam posts to get any attention. It's not like this is a minor issue; despite there being very few of us with the issue, it affects our entire experience. Stuff like this is why proper support columns need to be established, not the same replies and shovels off to other sections to "see if it can be fixed"
Maintenance fixes the issue as it resets what you were doing in limbo. Characters can't be in travel, that is why they turn travel off 30 minutes prior to maintenance and after.
You could try making a Free Trial account, create the same character, use a different name, but put it on the same Home World as the character that got stuck, then attempt to travel and return, see if it does it to that account. If you can trigger it on a different account, then it could be a bug when certain conditions are met.
I’m hopeful for that but considering I had run out of game time around March 30th, and there was maintenance on the 2nd of April; seems my alt was never sent back to their home world. Which makes me skeptical of this maintenance too. Either that, or it’s what caused the error, but considering OP hasn’t had maintenance since theirs started, I doubt it.Maintenance fixes the issue as it resets what you were doing in limbo. It is fixed, at least for me!
