Started on a NA account: Moved to EU: Now cannot pay my sub. Anyone else stuck?

I started playing 10 years ago in 2.0. I was living in NA and planning to possibly move to the EU. I did move and never had an issue using my EU debit card. But with the new system, no dice.

So am I to just not play anymore? Do I need to appoint a new FC lead before my sub?

Seriously SE, can you please stop with the region locked mess. This is a global community now. At least let us change our region of gaming and proper address if we move!

You have to contact support in order to change region/address if I remember correctly. Same goes for name changes and the likes of that.

There is absolutely no way to change account region. Support or otherwise.

SE change to the payment system has screwed a lot of people out of paying for their subs. I am in NA had to buy crysta through my amazon account to renew my sub. Keep getting errors in the mogstation anytime I try and renew it there.

I could understand their change impacting people who are not in officially supported regions, but the fact that it is impacting those who simply moved from a supported region to another supported region is ridiculous. This is just one of those really irritating things that SE is behind the times on. Honestly, their handling of websites, web stores, and payment processing are all back at like early 2000s level, not to mention the forum set up being like a 90s style forum set up. I just don't understand how they are so far behind the times on these things.

They are a Japanese company. Technology-wise, much of Japanese business and society is still stuck in the 90s.

I can't even buy Crysta, do a Steam payment, or even use my credit card because it keeps redirecting me to a page to change my address and saying it's invalid despite living in the same country my whole life...

Seems the payment issue may be getting worse and still no statement from SE on the matter. I normally dont say anything about SE not communicating quickly enough on things. But this is one matter that should have been addressed by now, the radio silence no aknowledgement they even know about the issue is frustrating.

As long as JP isn't crying about it, nothing will change. I'm really disappointed in this, I've never seen a company actively try to screw over people who support it, had I known how backwards paying for this game- I'd say the MSQ and the content isn't worth the stress and the headache. I've lost motivation to play, because what's the point? I'm going to lose it all anyway. If anything I regret preordering DT.

If they don't want to support people who maybe exist out of NA/EU then maybe they should've region locked the game and save these people alot of headache and money.
