    Is Square looking to keep players and push others out?

    Hello,

    I am writing because I am almost to the end of my rope with Square Enix. The last moogle tome event, I wrote on the tech forums that I was getting things like 3 tomes when I did the Praetorium, or when I was really lucky...I got none. It ruined the event for me, and made it pointless to even participate because without the tomes, there was no point.

    Now...the new event. Here, we can collect the minions, and we are supposed to get a mount after grinding these low level fates for these tokens to buy these minions at 3 tokens a piece with 17 of them. 51 tokens needed for all of them, possibly one token per fate, unless you get a legendary. That is a huge time sink. Imagine my surprise when I got all of them and went to go see Jonathas. He wants to give me a certificate so I can get a ribbon for my hair, a goblin cap, or a fat chocobo head.

    Nothing about a mount. Now I know what you are thinking, maybe I don't have the achievement or am misreading something. I thought so too, so I watched a video of someone who went and got their new mount from this guy at the falls and I followed procedure. Just incase you are still doubting me, I am posting the receipts.

    So again, I missed out on the last event, I get to miss out on this one, and Square Enix has lost or erased all of my points that I had at the store. I guess I didn't buy my reaper magnets or the game when I came back...nope. I just apparently bought the digital collector's editions through the mog store of ARR - HW. So if my computer hard drive dies, I guess I lose everything...outfits I have bought, mounts, etc.... Maybe my number came up, or they figured I have been here long enough, I don't know. But if they want me to go, well this is a positive way to show me. Guess it is a good thing I didn't purchase Dawntrail prematurely.

    You need only 13 minions for the mount. You're looking at the wrong achievement.

    Achievements > Quests > Seasonal Events > You Must Needs Befriend Them All I (one, not two).

    Claim the item directly from the Achievements window.

    Thank you for the information on that. I am not sure why that person went to him and he asked if they wanted to share a tale. That is what I was looking for and didn't see it. I couldn't find the first achievement so didn't realize it was in the book. After the last event, I was feeling very frustrated, so thank you so much for answering and letting me know, this event is saved for me.
