"Looking for Party" localization confuses new players

When you advertise a Party Finder in /shout using <pfinder> it displays:

    "Looking for Party (Partyleader's Name)"

New players think that the party leader is looking for a party. They aren't aware that this is a person who is hosting a party. They aren't aware they can click it and join it.

So we have to clarify: "<-- click to join".

We shouldn't have to do that. The localization should convey to the new player that this is someone hosting a party and that they can join it. For example:

"Click to Join (Partyleader Name's Party)"
    "Join Party (Partyleader's Name)"
    "Hosting a Party (Partyleader's Name)"
    "Party Invite (Partyleader's Name)"
    "Party Invitation (Partyleader's Name)"

we could also use "Looking for More", LFM has been traditionally used (and still is in other MMO's) to signify that you're looking for more people in your party

Agreed. Another possible alternative would be to just add the word "members":

"Looking for Party Members (Partyleader's Name)"

If it's not obvious that a link needs to be clicked, the link needs to be formatted better, not labeled "click here".

    "Join Party (Partyleader's Name)"
Clicking the link lets you view the listing. It's still a couple more clicks to join it.

    "Hosting a Party (Partyleader's Name)"
This sounds like I want people to come to my location. I don't.

    "Party Invite (Partyleader's Name)"
    "Party Invitation (Partyleader's Name)"
There is already something else in the game that is a "party invitation". This is something different.

The game interface should assume that anyone who's playing doesn't know MMO terminology and avoid using expressions that are incomplete or ambiguous (looking for more what?) or that use unofficial terminology.

This is the best suggestion so far. It's clear, it uses standard terminology, and it doesn't conflict with terms already used for other purposes.

If this were just a localization problem I would suggest the following: "Forming party (Leader's Name)"

However, I would even go so far as "Forming party: Duty Name (Leader's Name)" with Duty Name ??? for those who haven't unlocked it.

    For example:
unlocked: Forming party: The Gilded Araya (Cyrillo Rongway@Hyperion)
locked: Forming party: ??? (Cyrillo Rongway@Hyperion)

"Forming party" is concise. Including the duty name is less concise but it will save people from having to open the listing to see what the duty is. There's no point in even clicking the link if it's a locked duty; the people who have it unlocked but are not interested in joining the party won't have to click the link just to discover they're not interested in the joining the party; and the people who want to do the duty will see that it's a duty they want to do and they'll be more likely to click on the link. This of course would make it a UI/UX problem and not a localization one. Unfortunately, the UI/UX team are not as responsive to feedback as the localization team is, so I doubt this would happen.
