Carbuncle needs some help.

So .. time for some little history lesson.

Long long ago SMN Agi's could pull the entire dungeon mobs that you'd skip, and aggro things from far far far away. Think like hunter pets in wow could pull the entire dungeon and more just because of their pathing.

SE's choice was to make the little guy have no aggro and do nothing more than standing looking cool and give you the 20% HP shield.

I remember doing lowlvl quests after I just started playing and the dang carbuncle always pulled EVERY. SINGLE. MOB. in the area and got me killed. I ended up deleting the whole char and started over as archer lol

People who played back then are GRATEFUL the carbuncle is just standing around looking dumb these days

There was an option to put them in passive mode, so no agro. I miss my pets as a StB smn main. I miss smn in general.

this is something SE fell short on and they still fall short on is explaining specific jobs mechs and how certain jobs are played especially summoner and dark back then.
