I believe so. There are multiple threads regarding their CC input being down. I can't even renew my subscription because of it.
Yeah, same. It keeps saying "This card is unavailable".
Adding myself here. Impacts this account and my main account. Card cannot be added. Called the bank to confirm that there were no holds or issues in regards to submitting payment to Square.
Edit: everyone who comes here - you use a Visa DEBIT card, huh? I've just read that Visa Debit specifically is no longer allowed. Anyone else confirm?

my friend is having the same issue with discover rn and cant resub, and therefore post on the forums about it.
I just tried to add more retainers and I get the same error: This card is unavailable. Visa debit card
Adding here as well, using Visa Debit. Unsure if unregistered from SE Account messes with the configuration on my FFXIV service account since I didn't change anything on that as of yet.
You'd think Visa Debit would be fine, considering its first on the list of 'Approved' payment options and large amount of people, if not the majority, use Visa Debit in some form or another.
I gave support a poke and got this reply:I think they've gotten enough people with the problem asking them about the issue that they have a copy-paste on hand about alternate ways to pay the sub; my issue was about using the ffxiv online store which a game time card does nothing for.

While we are trying to resolve this issue, please do not attempt to continue using a declined card as it may cause a temporary lockout from billing on the account. If you're receiving a billing declined error, it is possible there is a temporary lockout on the account. When receiving payment errors, please wait a minimum of 24 hours before reattempting the transaction. For a card is unavailable please wait at least 48 hours.
Furthermore, you may also try another payment method and make sure that the information closely matches the actual information if in any case that you're outside of the region. Although the transaction may be declined by our authentication system, several convenient alternative payment methods are available for you to successfully make your purchase. If you'd like to make your purchase immediately, you can attempt to use one of the provided alternative payment methods.
1. Crysta may be purchased via PayPal, which allows the customer to use PayPal's authentication system
2. Game Time Cards may be purchased at a variety of retailers to add 60 days of subscription time for Final Fantasy XIV accounts.
Once again, we do apologize for the inconvenience these errors may have caused. If the issue persist, please contact us back with the error message.
