Yo-Kai Event: BLU Major Griefing Problem

This seems like a non-issue. You have 2 months, you can wait until most of the hardcore farmers are done. You will have plenty of maps to yourself across so many servers to choose from.

Are people so anti-social that they avoid joining parties? This is an MMO cmon, you dont even have to say anything. Just join a party, follow the group and get a few hits in.

Also a great time to level blu btw because players are frantically trying to learn the spells. This is one of the few times blu is actually useful so just let them have it.

What would be a huge improvement and what I still wish for? is a " Auto-Level-Sync Toggle Feature " so players don't need to constantly press Level-Sync when they enter a Fate. This would also improve any Future event or activity revolving around Fate farming.

Not automatic but you can write a macro and combine it with your mount.

/mount "Company Chocobo"
/levelsync

Let's you dismount and turns levelsync on. And when you are done you jump on your mount and can fly off.

Of course you can change the name to your favorite mount. Or don't add a name and then it just dismounts you.

Fates and open world combat are the only places a BLU can play outside of boring logs and carnivale. It's fun to play. Not all BLU's are giant jerks trying to suck up all the fun for everyone. I did the event as BLU because it's the only time I'll play it, for fates (events and to get my all elezen squadron). I would hydropull and stand there and still people would complain.

You're putting words into my mouth. I never said that people playing BLU are the bane of this world. I'm not pointing fingers at BLU players. Some are definitely here griefing (boo), some are not (props to you).

The only thing I wrote is that this problem has been introduced by SE and it makes the content inacessible for new players, at least until the whole thing quiets down after weeks/months, maybe. For instance fates and every boss in expansion areas are immune to most of BLU's cheese, yet in ARR it works. It was probably not a problem when Yokai was first introduced, but now it sure is a problem.

That honestly would be Best, Just a Toggle Item that can be Activated in a Zone.
While I do know players can make a button.

For some players it's just another thing that needs to be pressed, or they don't have space(or for whatever personal reason. Be it Fair Enough/Just Is) to even make one.

But if one can just have it sync to any fate once you're within range/Leave the Zone with ease.

Would make lives easier. More so for Console Players.

The Unfortunate thing, is that doesn't work for limited time events that Follow a Flow of High Player Beginning Count. Low Middle Count. Medium Final Count.

More so with how long it'll last, leading up into Dawntrails Returning Player Count the month <-> week before.

The Good or Ill of The Low Player Middle, is that Less will Have to deal with Low participation.
Yet BLUs won't have to worry about Stigma cause there are less Effects on others. and Can go Haam.

Unfortunately this Content Covers Low Level/Mid Level Zones. so Most Sprouts will just have to deal with not having enough equipment/skills/actions.

I personally think it is badly planned out anyway.

We have two newbies in the FC who still have to complete the story. But now they basically have to grind Yo-kai, because the don't have any of the rewards. Then grind the Gold Saucer, because they don't have any of the rewards. And then grind the Moogle Tomes, because they don't have any of the rewards.
When are they going to complete the story?

Meanwhile I myself have all the Yo-kai weapons and mounts, have everything you can buy for MGP (and my MGP are also capped) and there is most likely nothing in the upcoming Moogle Treasure Trove I am missing.

So I have nothing to do - and they have to work overtime.

I mean - tbh nothing stopping anyone from just not grinding it all right now and waiting for a rerun. Moogle Trove items aren't exclusive to the event either for what I know.

Again, feels more like a FOMO thing.

I feel like the scaling of FATEs clearly needs work. Also, they need to disable skills that instantly kill mobs from FATEs. These players are knowingly griefing others. And SE won't do anything, but maybe we can get some kinda of change.

I'm sorry before someone comes in saying they aren't when I watch a group of Blue Mages see a group of players show up to no FATE and they keep doing it they're griefing. I don't care what kind of mental gymnastic program you got running in your head.

At this point, it's griefing. Maybe day 1, sure, but these people know what they are doing.

BLU did not exist at the past Yo-Kai events and I believe this was a massive oversight in this release.

it absolutely DID and i personally used it to get said weapons

The only reasonable and simple solution I can see is restricting that BLU cannot equip the watch

playing a job for its intended purposes is not griefing. and removing its ability to participate in content is sending the wrong message. you will simply have to either level your blue or deal with it. no amounts of complaints will ever change this.

There's usually just 1 item that's exclusive to the event unless they pull out all the exclusive rewards at once. Things like certain earrings, necklaces, or the ifrit jacket were moogle trove exclusives and usually 100 tomes. They also may pull out stuff that's been discontinued like certain mounts. The Falcon mount was part of a Stormblood subscription promotion in 2017 and it comes back sometimes for moogle event for 50 tomes. Still FOMO but it's not everything.

There's also nothing stopping higher level players from farming some of the tradable items for their friends, or doing that for gil on the Market Board. Of course only talking moogle event, not Yokai or Gold saucer.

I can't get groups. Nobody joins them. Nobody makes them. The FATEs evaporate. So naturally, you speak up. They ignore you. The FATEs evaporate faster. You can not play. There's a word for it, but it's on the tip of my tongue. I know it starts with the letter O, and it has a destruction sound to it. Oh yeah, obstruction! But what was I doing? Oh yeah! Gameplay! A gameplay obstruction! And even better I asked nicely and they went faster. Crap there's another word for that it starts with g and ends in an rief sound. Oh yeah, griefing! But griefing requires malicious imtent? Well, they did start going faster when I asked them to slow down. That's not quite malicious, but it is with intent. I better phone a lawer on this one. The old thesaurus is failing me, apparently.
