Yo-Kai Event: BLU Major Griefing Problem

Just to play devil's advocate, the Yokai Watch is also optional content and the rewards in it as well.

Not getting very far with it as you know for yourself that, that is already shot down.

Yokai event as so many other events has been based on that you can do them from being very low level and not even be able to fly and the likes, none of these events has been based on some sideshow job can just waltz in and override everything, you know it is wrong, and that is just how it is, it create an unfair advantage towards the actual jobs inside the game.

That is an entire other thing, completing Savage and Ultimates is only Optional content as well and the rewards in it as well.

We are talking about an event that should be available to all regardless of whatever and using BLU for it is a major exploit that can be used to grief ordinary people and technically can be reported as well.

By definition, griefing is something you can do using game systems to disrupt other people's play. Much like putting an obsidian block on someone's door or tnting someone's house in Minecraft. It's all stuff the game allows, but any server would ban you if you did it. People make their own rules for certain actions, but it kinda stands the same on its own. Irregardless of the present situation. I'm just adding this. You guys can keep arguing if you want, but I wanted to add that.

It surprises me how people are still doing this on Dynamis a month into the event. I still make PFs daily to try to farm this and I'm fighting BLU and groups of players every single day who refuse to do the bare minimum to coexist.

That was my initial impetus to even post here about it. I was trying to group and play nice like an adult, and apparently sharing and caring aren't taught in school anymore. I put up party finders made the effort to promote group play, and I was labeled the bad guy.

Sink or swim like I was playing World of Warcraft or something.

But someone will come and post under me using olympic level mental gymnastics to make me who wanted to share look selfish. Mark my words.

I'm fortunate enough that I got all of the ARR and both Heavensward weapons done, but since I haven't reached Stormblood yet, I can't work on the last two weapons and honestly, I don't feel inclined to rush HW *just* to put up with more of the same issues but in a different expansion's zones.

The event in general makes me feel bad about being on a low-pop data center now too, because it's just that much easier for Travelers to come over and take whatever they want (ironic given how many of them likely came over after *they* got pushed out on their home server), and then the local folks we have get avoidant or hostile with anyone not on their FC/friend list because if they don't "adapt and play the game as intended" (as some Blue Mages call it) by being greedy jerks themselves, they'll continue to get left out.

it will never be griefing, it will never be an exploit no matter how much you cry and how many buzzwords you use
you don't own the fates, it's rule of the fastest out in the overworld, probably missed like 10 fates just typing that
keep up and also, Beastmaster soon, can't wait until my a Red Comet goes thermonuclear on a fate, it's gonna be great gemstone farming

Credit for Fates works on enmity, not damage.

I soloed everything on drk and got pretty much all gold medals even with blue mages and groups around. I just apply tank stance, throw my weapon (high enmity + range), taunt and either keep throwing my weapon or use aoe to keep building aggro when I am not alone.

The other good thing with a tank is that all abilities are insta cast and there are ogcds too whereas Blue mage hydro pull, Ram’s voice and ultra vibration, choco meteor are 2s each. With drk I have enough speed and aggro to simply ignore blue mages. I would not do low level fates on a blm during an event because of cast times and lack of abilities to mitigate the long casts at low levels.

When I am sure I have enough to get full credit, I stop doing damage to give a chance to other players that are around as the low level fates are very fast.
