Yo-Kai Event: BLU Major Griefing Problem

I can't get groups. Nobody joins them. Nobody makes them. The FATEs evaporate. So naturally, you speak up. They ignore you. The FATEs evaporate faster. You can not play. There's a word for it, but it's on the tip of my tongue. I know it starts with the letter O, and it has a destruction sound to it. Oh yeah, obstruction! But what was I doing? Oh yeah! Gameplay! A gameplay obstruction! And even better I asked nicely and they went faster. Crap there's another word for that it starts with g and ends in an rief sound. Oh yeah, griefing! But griefing requires malicious imtent? Well, they did start going faster when I asked them to slow down. That's not quite malicious, but it is with intent. I better phone a lawer on this one. The old thesaurus is failing me, apparently.

I can perhaps see why ppl aren’t joining your groups. If you act like this on the forums I bet your ingame messages were as bad or worse. You act like a karen.

Eh, I've found it easier to just wait until multiple FATEs spawn and then go in the *opposite* direction of the Blue Wave, or even just go to the other listed zones per minion, because at this point I just don't want to deal with them *at all* anymore and even started adding the worst offenders to my blacklist knowing full well how it's going to work come Dawntrail. They already treat me like I'm invisible, so let's make it official.

Actually I have seen worse. I was leveling (in the 40's) on my Blue just killing toads outside MorDhona and leaving if a fate started. Multiple times someone higher up would come in and intentionally kill off all the mobs so I couldn't. No matter where I went in the zone they would follow and do it again. One claimed it was his duty to make sure no Blue could level.

I only act like that when I'm dealing with morons. I have no reason to act like that with reasonable people. A reasonable person would've adjusted and let people actually do the FATEs. In the heat of the moment in all things, the most I could even type is "lfg" or is "There any open parties?" I won't give away how I have been doing the FATEs lately because I'd rather not be griefed. But I've given up trying to join groups or make groups because of how anti-social the majority of players have been. I just want to participate in an event the same as them. But unlike them, I am not a selfish jerk.

Maybe get off Dynamis and go to Crystal for example, I saw at least 10 PFs yesterday for yokai grinding when I logged on in the evening (which is why I'm confused why people are saying they can't get groups). I really haven't seen any of this toxic exclusionary behavior myself yet so idk.

Edit: As of 7:42 AM EST, there are 3 FATE parties for Yokai up on Crystal with no limitations on who joins.

BLU did not exist at the past Yo-Kai events and I believe this was a massive oversight in this release.

The only reasonable and simple solution I can see is restricting that BLU cannot equip the watch

playing a job for its intended purposes is not griefing. and removing its ability to participate in content is sending the wrong message. you will simply have to either level your blue or deal with it. no amounts of complaints will ever change this.

You're leaving convenience and utility on the table.
I'm sure with more limited jobs coming there's going to be more dumb overpowered things to use.

I don't think you should consider it childish, but auspicious.

Again, it goes back to how you use the power you're given. Do you screw others because it's convenient to you? Or do you try to use that power in a positive way? Yeah, of course, it benefits them to delete FATEs to speed up THEIR grinds, but what about everyone else? Did they even consider it? Did it even cross their minds, I wonder?

I refuse to make excuses for people who act in a negative way and brush it off as someone else's problem to be swept under a rug.

Anyway I'm done with this topic. It's going in circles.
