It would be good if the launcher had an option to remember my password

It's just tiresome to have to enter my password every time. This is especially true because I play through Steam, and the launcher and SE account are linked to my Steam account and login anyway. Please consider adding this as an option to the launcher. Thank you.

But it really should be an option of you are using the one time code.

They already have this for the Playstation version of the game so it's odd it's not like that on PC.

yea it would be really nice if there was just a quicker alternative to it. Something kinda like a quick launcher.

people dont complain cause they literly stay logged in and never logging out which is why some servers are hard locked due to this. lol

I can give two reasons as to why it isn't on the pc's launcher:

1. Probably because like Apple devices consoles could be safer from virus threats and would less likely take a saved password from a Credential Manager.

2. It would have made sense for a desktop user if their desktop device stays home unless you took it to some kind of game night. But would someone like a student or worker in an office or classroom environment expect to do Windows + L or put their laptop to sleep mode whenever they leave their desk?

Third party launcher is better in general. Even if you don't want to use plugins (you can launch it without having them turned on), it's worth a look into. It remembers your password, has Steam integration and has faster load in times.

Yeah, basically punishing people who are not running mods that prevent auto-kick.

Ironically, using GW2 official launcher that remembers my password.....it made me actually forget my account's password from 7 years ago ahahaha
I guess the merit of having to re-enter your password is that you probably won't forget it, though I know I stared at it before and was like 'what was it again?'

It's really inconvenient though..
