Yo-Kai issue getting Legendary Meds?

Is anyone else having trouble getting Leg Meds?
I played a few years ago and had a watch and some weps and lots of minions.

So I put on the watch, and lord emma to get gunbreaker arm.
Went to Fringes and did some fates and get three metals.
Ok Fine, but need 2 more right?
So do 4 more fates and no Leg Med drops. Got normal meds, but no Leg meds?

What's up with this? Tried Azim Step and Peaks and nobody in Azim steps and in Peaks same thing No drops.

What's up?? It acts like 3 perday or something.

RNG is RNG.

The first three dropped on successive fates, so I didn't know that there was an RNG at play.
I did 3 more fates and got 2 more Leg Meds... Sigh...

When I did the quest earlier this morning, it did mention that Legendary Medals drop "with low probability."

The odds are not that bad, ~40% for Leg Meds if you could consistently get gold medal. (Protip: Always join a party or make one yourself when farming medals)
Also if you've already exchanged for other weapons with Leg Meds, the rest of the weapon would cost 10 each.
So take your time and don't expect to do them all in one sitting.

The rng is terrible, but if you pace yourself, it's not that bad. I've gotten 4 minions and 3 weapons so far. So I got 13 and 14 to go. I could buy the rest of the minions, but I'm doing them one at a time so as not to burn myself out. I already think FATEs are one of the worst pieces of content in this game already, so if I'm not bothered by it by now, it should be fine. The bigger issue is how exploitable Blue Mage is. It is crazy to me that they allowed that, but it will piddle out as they blast through it, one shotting FATEs. But I'm not here to weigh in on SquareEnix's incompetence.

The Event is just a good old fashioned grind. Do a few medals every Day to avoid frustration.

Seems like get them faster at higher level fates. I got 10 medals yesterday from only running 13 fates that was between level 66 to level 68.

Idk if this is a thing or not but I feel like the drop rate of legendary medals in SB zones is way lower than in that ARR or HW ones.
