    where they said that? i alway let my accound sub auto renew itself, the last renew was 21st april, and due to 21st may, iam ot sure if my card being void next month

    i juct check my account on mogstation and whatever i do i need to redo address check, i live in SEA but my account address from US, now i cannot change it as they doesn't let me change country

    I just checked, my sub is supposed to renew automatically at 10. May. It's a sub + 1 retainer and it's an ongoing subscription with SEPA, so an outdated one. Guess soon I'll find out if it is still getting renewed as the announcement said, if it counts for both the retainer and the sub or only the sub or if I get kicked out.

    Interesting thing is, I'm currently unable to add a new payment method or update my existing one, the button is greyed out. Only the button for deleting a registered payment method is active. Is this like it is for everybody? I never had a reason to change this since I enabled it, so I'm not sure how it is supposed to look.

    same as me, i have to wait until 21st may to find out if auto renew still work, current cannot add any card due the address update, and it's impossible to change account country so any address i put in will be invalid

    My sub renews on the 1st of the month, and it did not go through today. I got an e-mail saying my payment failed. Yet when I remove and re-register my Visa card, it accepts it no problem as valid; it just refuses to actually charge me. Even buying a gametime card with Visa does not work, so I had to resort to Paypal. I think this shows that this issue is not just limited to XIV but also Square Enix and their other sites perhaps.

    It did not for me. I never got an error message with an invalid address, only issues relating to my Visa debit card. I wish I could be more of help here, sadly.

    It was disabled for me as well, only Unregister was active.

    So I unregistered my credit card. Register/Update then became active and I was able to re-enter my credit card information without a problem.

    Worth a try if you haven't tried doing that already.

    does your card and your address in same country? i am scare to update my card now without finding out if i can still put my card back, my card and my visa and address in different country tho

    idk about game time card either, when i check it, it still has option to put the code in, but i don't know if it also ask address when i confirm, wtf they are thinking, change something so cirtical right before new xpac about to release

    If you're referring to the register/update payment method page on the SE account management site, that's what it looked like for me as well. I'm not willing to play the game with this hanging over my head so I decided to update my details to see what would happen.

    I first deleted the existing data, which caused the submission button to become active again, then resubmitted the same card details. Now both buttons on that page are lit up. I couldn't tell you why that's the case now compared to earlier, I just chalked it up to SE website spaghetti code.

    I haven't touched that button yet, I'm waiting to see if it works without it. Thing is, I don't have a credit card, that's just not a very common thing to have where I live. Most people use their debit cards for buying things in everyday life. There has been a recent change in the banking system that should make me able to use my debit card for online services and stuff, but considering FFXIV players are reporting issues with payment services that should be available, I'm not sure it will work out...? It's good to know "Register/Update" becomes available after unregistering the current method though, thanks for the info!
