    Credit Card Payment is completely broken.

    You've changed the credit card entry method on the Mog Station and Store site -- and now it is COMPLETELY broken and has been for three days now. Every time I try to enter my CC number and other information one of three messages comes back with blank boxes...

    "This card is unavailable."
    "The entered data is invalid."
    "This function is temporarily unavailable. Please wait a few minutes before trying again."

    This has become both frustrating and infuriating. I've repeatedly tried to make purchases on two different browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and on two different computers (a Mac and PC). Today is 24 April 2024

    This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

    PS-I am going to bet that no-one from Square-Enix reads this thread and that I'm wasting my time posting this. Prove me wrong.

    I'm from SEA region and since it's not listed in the "supported" country, I went with Australia (this is like 8-9 years ago).
    No Crysta option (error 11000), no Paypal. Only gametime card/paysafe and CC.
    This is fucked up beyond anything.
    I can go to some greymarket shady website to buy shit and they offer 20 different option to pay. And yet Sqex decided to screwed up their last option to use CC to pay for something.
    I'm not going to buy shitty Standard 60-days overpriced gamecard.

    Yep, still down for me as well. There's a few others who are posting about this as well. Sad, I can't renew my subscription because of this error. If it was down for 3 days when you posted, means it'll be 4 days down now. SE dropping the ball. You'd think they'd want money.

    Same for me. I keep having the error "This card is unavailable." when I try to renew my subscription. It ends today so I guess I can't play until this is fixed...

    Same for me as well, went to buy the Seigneur's Attire and it kept saying my card was unavailable. I hope they fix it soon.

    It's probably because they've changed the company responsible for handling the payment processing/card verification, which also corresponded with a number of payment methods no longer being available (certain unusual types of credit or debit cards offered in some countries), and they've been warning about this for a few months now:

    Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept JCB, Carte Bleue, SEPA (ELV). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.   

    We recommend due diligence when reviewing charges after the change to ensure they are from Square Enix for purchases you made. You may notice that credit card charges appear differently on your bank statement, or your bank may request additional fraud verification for new purchases.    

    In cases where a transaction is declined, you encounter error messages, or you have any other difficulties with payments, please contact the Square Enix Support Centre (https://sqex.to/globalsupport) so we can assist you. 
    That statement from SE did also mention that for payment methods to be verified, they need to confirm your billing address is correct as well (where as before you could get away with sticking pretty much anything into it) so that might be causing trouble as well.

    Unfortunately this doesn't help when things go wrong - I admit I'm concerned for how much trouble I might have when my current Visa card expires in August and whether it will accept the new card or not.

    Same problem... can't pay for anything.

    If this continues I will be forced to quit the game permanently after 10 years of subscribing.
