Posting here to gloat over all you naysayers. SE did add options for regex muting of RMT phrases. I knew it could be done, and all your knuckleheads who shot down the idea have a heck of a lot of egg on your faces.

The only thing I wish now is an option for when phrases which match expressions can be added automatically to the local muted list to save me the trouble of doing it manually.

Of course it could be done. It took 1 plogon dev about 30 seconds to cobble it together during a coffee break years ago.

Thanks to this post, RMT has now been fixed and entirely removed from the game
