What is the point of having BiS

Nevermind the side content! I want to do something with my BiS! I farmed 2 months for it, what was the point?

By getting BiS gear you have proved that you don't need BiS gear. There is nothing you need BiS gear for, it just makes high-level content a tiny bit easier than the next-best gear pieces.
