Character Creator Idea

I know it is beating a dead horse, this will be the last post from me on this subject.
Alot of players want more options in the character creator from female options to male options and have for awhile but no one at square is acknowledging.

Except YoshiP did acknowledge it. He said it would make no sense to add more features to the character creator until the graphics overhaul is complete so they're hoping to get to it by 8.0.

Keep in mind that wasn't a promise or firm commitment. Just an acknowledgement that players have been asking and it's on their to-do list.

What if you cancel your pass? What happens to your character? It reverts to some default state? Do you have to make your character twice, once with premium and once without so they can take away the premium features from you if you cancel?
No. Character creation should be the same across the board, and the devs should commit to making it better for everyone. There are better character creators in games that pre-date ARR. If it doesn't happen in 8.0 then the devs are playing us.

I personally think they should give us every option the npcs have. Like, I think alot of players would kill to have clives face or aymerics face or certain eyes or hairstyles. I don't know why the player get inferior face options such as male elvaan and then make aymeric with clearly superior face model.

Yea, i know some of you have opinions on whats better looking or not but the point stands that we shouldnt get locked out of potentially better options.

That's only gotten worse with each expansion, honestly. Better and better special character faces and the WOL just looks more and more like a generic NPC you'd vendor items to.
