Can I get an in-game achievement for all the forum medals I have?

No, but you can distribute your post count as experience points. Imagine the shitstorm that would ensue.

Its already been said by devs this aint gonna happen unfortunately, though it would be kinda cool

I actually remember them saying this quite recently? Anyway I could only see them using this for sort of automated requests, stuff like (I need) x (of this item) (Contact me!) (Reward)

You know? Kind of like shouts but not clogging up the chat channel.
