    I may main DRK but AST and DRG are my other two focal jobs so yes, I'm looking at a double whammy at this point given that my main is one of the worst-impacted faces in one of the worst-impacted races in terms of being fucked over by an arbitrary change in art style. If there isn't a big pivot over time I'm probably just going to drop my sub entirely, which would suck. I was drawn to 14 initially because of the art style, and throwing that away to chase something else that looks worse for all but a few would leave me with no other option.

    And no, the limbal ring didn't get new options, they just tweaked the rendering for brighter colors so anyone who liked how the old ring interacted with the eyes is left out.

    Scaling would not address several of the problems I've seen. This is likely referring to things like the buggy rigging seen in Elezen.

    Right now the benchmark shows me at very high settings comfortably,
    Score: 13938 Very High
    1920x1080 High (Desktop) DirectX11 FSR Windowed

    So obviously unimplemented high res textures will affect that.

    just textures? not in any noticeable way shape or form. at most loading times.

    Does that mean Au Ra puffy lips? Lalafell tiny teeth? Moonkeeper fangs? Those all seem like they'd have somewhat different causes so I don't know if they'd all be the same bullet point about "an" issue with scaling.

    It could cover all of those, but the Au Ra lips are unlikely to be affected drastically by the corrections in the new version. The teeth and the lips are all part of the mouth object though, so if that was scaled incorrectly, everything would show at the wrong size.

    The issues people are having with lips goes beyond their scaling, they were remodeled and are just different models. Them saying it's just scaling issues would imply the change in mouth style is intentional and going to be kept.

    Well I just cranked it up to Max settings and ran it again and it didn't drop by much and still has me in the same range.

    When I crank it up to Max settings, it still gives Very High.

    I was really glad to know that they read feedback that we all gave about the character changes.
    I'm sure that lighting will not be able to fix the problem I described, but since there were also words about mouth problems, I have some hope that the situation will improve. Therefore, of course, I will refrain from discussing it further for now. I'll wait for the updated version of Benchmark.

    In the future, I will only read the Japanese forum through a translator. I was pleased to be there. And my message there did not cause any controversy at all, although it was an exact copy of the message I left here.
