While it would be nice if there were more options, everyone keeps just saying 'just add them as options' acts as if that's an easy thing to do. This is despite CBUIII going on record multiple times stating that it is not so easy to add options to the current character creator and that in fact many races are at or near their customization limit with the current system design. So to do that they would have to over haul the current character creation system completely. Which is likely on their to do list, but is not something that can be easily done let alone this expansion.

No, its not accurate, and yeah, everyones feedback matters, and there's nothing you can do to stop people from expressing themselves here or what their concerns are or aren't. So if you want to be hostile you're just asking to receive it back.

The people who have called for the entire graphical update to be cancelled because their character isn't right anymore on the other hand are my posting enemies and I have a vested self-interest in them not getting their way. Just as they have a vested self-interest in wanting to cancel the update entirely.

Do you think devs can’t think for themselves and you need to go full pvp for opposite opinions from yours? They present their point (however radical it might seem to you) - you present yours in the relevant thread. That is all it has to be.

As far as I understand the reason why the Japanese side's feedback is so orderly is not because there are no people saying "I don't like xyz". To my understading the reason is that other people let the negative feedback be and just add the positive feedback about their own characters. But others may correct me on this assumption.

Exactly! No one is replying to people who are pleased with their character saying "actually, your updated character is hideous". And yet there are dozens of useless replies to negative/upset posts in the form of "I like your character better now" or "it looks the same to me". Who asked? Stop derailing threads and focus on your own character.

For the sake of experimentation, post this message on a Japanese forum. There are quite a lot of people asking for this update to be canceled or delayed.
Publish this message word for word as you wrote here. Tell them that they are your enemies. And watch how quickly your message will be deleted.

Maybe if they had ever showed interest in giving anyone but midlander Hyur more face options people would be more open to the idea that adding them is harder. But between showing recently (in relative terms) that they still have some space by adding another Hyur face and asking for more race ideas after previously saying Hroth and Viera would be the last, they're giving contradictory information and the most recent information leans more towards that they can do it and there is space.

Yeah, having read the entire JP feedback thread, the sentiment over there is much more negative towards the update then here, many are calling for it to be cancelled. They are also more skeptical of Yoshi-P's statement, asking well what about all the model changes, while here things have calmed down a lot.
