All my skills for all classes fit on my Razer Naga mouse / 1-4+Q, E and F keys (with CTRL modifier). And I still have 6 (12 with modifier) mouse buttons free

They could also do things that don't require button addition or smashing like having magic bursts off skills that was done well in FF11,thought that was a great combat addition that made fights more fun and also gave healers things to do damage wise as they could burst also. Not everyone can play using a 12 button gaming mouse if you can great but surely it's not the norm methinks.

But this would inevitably require a button in this game? FF14 isn't like FF11 where you have people sitting around doing literally nothing for potentially up to a minute or longer job depending. In ff14 you're always pressing buttons constantly and it would kinda suck to... not. Like if sam kasha and brd bloodletter skillchained, that would mean that either the sam would have to stop combo until bloodletter was ready or brd would have to sit on bloodletter, missing out on procs, to line up with the samurai. You'd also have the 2 of the macroing kasha/bloodletter ready and I guarantee that would get tiresome considering how often those skills get used comparativelyThey could also do things that don't require button addition or smashing like having magic bursts off skills that was done well in FF11,thought that was a great combat addition that made fights more fun and also gave healers things to do damage wise as they could burst also. I've thought in the past that reworking limit break might be the way to do this. Where once the bar fills up someone can't hit the limitbreak button to consume the gauge and then a random person in the group would have their limit break button light up like a combo that they could activate within a reasonable time and if they do, it does a skillchain/magic burst and it chains to someone else, lighting up their limit break button until it progresses through the party. Does more damage the longer it progresses.
Much as I think this would be cool though, kinda feel like it would lead to a lot of feel bad moments of people (mostly sprouts) getting roasted if they fuck it up. So it's probably not tenable, much to my chagrin.
I wish we stop having two abilities that share cooldown but one is single target and the other is AoE. This was their attempt at not deleting abilities, and also reducing the amount of abilities used on single target rotation. Keept both abilities and made one useless outside of dungeons.
