Did Yoshi every talk about why you cannot make small elf's in the game? the size of alpy and his sister? I love the Elfs, but I feel like they are freakishly tall. Do we know if they tend to let us change their size in the future updates?

Nope.
Elezen are tall and lanky in XIV's universe. Shorter ones are children to teenagers.
If you want a short elf, you can always join us Lalas. (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍) ~♥
They’re not just small, they’re not full adults yet (I think they’re about 16 or 17?) and all player characters are adults.
That being said though, there’s no way those two are going to look like any of the PC models when they age (if we ever get to see it lol). They seem a lot more delicate and lithe than the Elezen we can play, and I’d like to see an adult version of their model added to character creation someday, maybe as another tribe or something. They don’t look like they’re going to evolve super long necks or broad shoulders, and their facial structure is a lot different than PC Elezens.
It’s telling that most people who cosplay Alisaie tend to use a Hyur character, because that looks closer to her than the actual Elezen! An adult version of Alisaie, or even a Half-Elezen like Hilda would be something I’d really enjoy playing.
lol big reason why I’m a Lala right there!I didn’t like the Elezen, and they wouldn’t let me put elf ears on a Hyur.
that makes sense, thank you!
