Future Races and/or Character Customization

This is the first time I've posted in any forum, so if this is in the wrong place I apologize.

I've played the game for a few years now and while I used to think the more races the better, I've quickly changed my mind. I think now that every race has their gender counterpart efforts should be spent on improving character customization for existing races. This could mean just new hairstyles, more colors to choose from etc.

My biggest con for character customization at the moment are the colors options. Every character I create just has no lips, or I'm forced to do a lighter pink to match with the rest of my face. I would KILL for a better red lip. The pigments are just not there, and what is there is very muted. I'm also sort of upset with the pigments in the eyes, I know they don't want to let us have Allagan red eyes, or Minfillia blue eyes because they're special characters... but it wouldn't hurt to have something close for those who want bright pigmented red eyes.

I also firmly believe they can go even further in depth with customization by potentially adding new clans. This definitely wouldn't work for some races, and I acknowledge it would have larger implications for text involving your character, but I'm using these as examples! For hyur I think having a midlander highlander hybrid, for lack of better term, like Arenvald, could be really cool! Although if that's too similar for you, then I think letting there be a Garlean defect clan be available would be pretty cool. This is what I was talking about where the text involving your character could end up needing so many adjustments it may not be worth it. Easier examples of this would be for Viera females to have a short, potentially floppy ears, version. For the males they would have a bigger and stronger look to them. The same can be said with female Hrothgars being more petite and small, and male hrothgars with a more petite look to them as well.

That is all talking far into the future. I doubt they would add new clans or even think about that anytime soon, and to be frank I would enjoy new idle emotes, faces, eyes, base hair, etc just as much. In fact I hope the next thing they work on are idle standing and sitting emotes. It's pretty frustrating that every race only has a couple truly unique poses and I'd like to see more new ones that are tied only to that race. Think the lalafell sitting with their knees to their chest and swaying side to side, or them swinging their feet when they sit on a bench.

Other smaller complaints are as follows: Tackle box not being it's own storage, not having a dye bag, only 10 hotbars (I use up a lot of mine for emotes and macros. Yes I know I could just not have so many emotes on my bar, but it's for easy access I also have stuff like the tp, aether compass, return, and other important stuff there), and friends list. The friends list NEEDS an update as I'm sure people have listed here before.

omg I would LOVE a separate tackle box and dye bag! Seconding that! (Mostly unrelated but on the topic of storage, being able to put all job gear in the armoire would be a lovely addition too)

Seconding the more options for chara customisation in the future, and more colours too! Too many feel like too much or too little, there's few that are "just right". I hope with the hroth ladies being the last 'new' race (or at least from what I vaguely recall hearing, anyway) they give some tlc to the races we do have in the future!

I love the idea of having more 'unique' poses, the lalafell are SUCH a prime example of being one of the favourites in terms of animations. The way they interact uniquely with the environment from being so small adds so much charm to them and I'd love for other races to have that too!
