Are people remembering to disable their shaders before leaving graphic feedback?

Sometimes the before screenshots look a bit different to my game. Could easily be gamma adjustment or not using the colourblind setting though. But for the sake of accurate feedback it might be helpful to double check.

This is why I'm taking all the criticisms with a grain of salt. I don't trust the playerbase to produce accurate, unedited photos to be completely honest.

My game is pure, unaltered, Final Fantasy XIV goodness so the comparisons I've posted are accurate! (Except for that one post where I forgot to dial the gamma correction down to 0 for the benchmark to bring it closer to what my game actually looks like. Has since been corrected.)

I have yet to see any comparison photos where the "before" was clearly under the influence of a shader. I think if anything, people might be forgetting to check the benchmark's gamma settings and adjusting so that it matches whatever they're playing with in the current game. But I know that for me, I did all sorts of side by side gamma comparisons, multiple environment comparisons, etc. and it still leaves much to be desired, sadly.

I think this is more for the "before" versions of how it looks in game right now, in these "before/after" comparisons.

Except you posted the same photo with two different settings and one is a way worse comparison than the other, clearly demonstrating you do not need third party game tools to present misleading photos.

You don't even necessarily need to use the game itself to produce misleading photos.

Are you okay? You've been all over this morning in multiple threads, making an effort to shut down as many people raising legitimate complaints as possible. It's bordering on gaslighting and the language you're using is deliberately inflammatory. What is your attachment to this?
