Something missed(?) on a hairstyle! Hyur Hair 14/Hair 103 for everyone else...?

I know the graphical update is a huge undertaking, we're getting mixed reviews on all the characters, etc. I'm pretty happy with my Dunes, but I did notice that the accessory on my hairstyle hasn't been updated. The difference between the earrings and the clips is rather stark. So I'm just hoping this gets fixed up later on! :D The hairclips are part of my character's lore so it would be nice~

I noticed similar on the aura hairstyles that have horns, they still look old.

Hopefully the accessories for the hairs get fixed up soon! ^^

I'm surprised that it hadn't gone unnoticed as isn't that the same hairstyle Yoshida uses on his lalafell? This and the Au Ra horns should definitely need to be looked at and upgraded.

They definitely have missed some of the hair accessories in the updates for default/racial hair.

The clip on my normal femroe hair has not been updated:


Meanwhile some hair has definitely had components for accessories updated, such as the locks


I'm suspecting they're in the queue, much like face paint and tattoos which still use 256px sized images.

If you mess around enough in Character Creation, you will see that the hairstyles seem to be in different stages of update progress.
For example, let's look at some female elezen hairstyles available:

This one, absolutely gorgeous and definitely finished:


Then we have Moenbryda's hairstyle, which is visibly pixelated and not nearly high quality as the previous one:


About accessories specifically, we can see this hairstyle that was clearly upscaled and nothing more, no materials, no specific polish.


And then you have clearly treated accessories:




All in all, I believe hairstyles in the benchmark are still very WIP and we will only see them finished on release anyway.
