Roegadyn Eye feedback (Dawntrail Benchmark)

I want to preface this with I have no qualms with most of the changes! Most of the colours look completely fine and the shading is better than what it was before, the textures for the most part look great!

I very much appreciate that not all Roegadyn look exceptionally old and rugged for the most part in the Dawntrail Benchmark so props for that.

I appreciate some of my pictures aren't the greatest so these may not be perfectly 1:1.



My biggest qualm is the eyes. The eyes look devoid of life and no longer have the cuteness factor that they did before. Face 1 for Roegadyn was hit especially hard, and it's a shame as that's my main character's face! The eye shadows look needlessly harsh and I find myself missing the cute little eye shine my character had before. (I know it's there in certain situations! But I'd like it at all times!) Now they just look very dead inside.

I absolutely loved how my blue-haired lad looked by default but he's completely lost that now, he just looks really serious - and that's completely down to the eye change.

Face 3 (I think), fourth character down with the pompadour, also looks exceptionally tired, it looks like someone let him into Hot Topic. I'd much prefer if that was an optional thing we could give to our characters rather than it being forced upon us (I believe this is also an issue with a lot of female characters now, they have needless eye makeup added to them).

In addition I feel like the lips were changed to be less boxy? But that could just be my eyes (there's probably other changes but what's honestly catching me off is the eyes so that's my main focus!)

And finally, the Hellsguard signature nose is so faint!! Please let us have an opacity slider or at least, the options to have it at 50% opacity or 100% opacity, I'd like to keep it as dark as it is already. It's too subtle now.

In conclusion, please give us back our eye shinies - even if it's just a fake one that doesn't depend on the lighting and please please please lessen the incredibly harsh shadow on Face 1's eyes!

I haven't been bothered by the eyes so much, but since this is a male roe feedback thread, I wholeheartedly agree that some of the face changes have made them look double their age. All of the faces look older now.
