Male Au Ra "Guyliner" in the Benchmark

I am not a fan.

That added black eyeliner might work for a few looks, but it doesn't mesh with mine at all. If it was an additional face option, this would be all good, but there is no way to opt out of it.

It really affects the general feeling I get when I look at my WoL, and I do hope that this is reconsidered before launch.

I should note that, otherwise, I am liking the improved models. There is always going to be a bit of an uncanny feeling when making any adjustment, but I do think this is overall an great move for the overall health from the game. My issue is with an addition rather than the conversion.

This actually looks like the "Panda eye" bug I see in some games as opposed to a creative choice where textures are missing in that location. I've especially seen it a lot when someone tries to mod in new face textures in a couple other games...

But yeah, fully agree that that's a completely different look. I hope it is fixed. If it is a creative decision then hopefully it's adjustable.

My working assumption was that it was a deliberate choice given that it would work with most make Au Ra you see out in the wild. The possibility of it being a bug, though, is comforting. A lot more likely to see a bug fix as opposed to a design change.

Can anyone confirm that they’re also seeing this on their client and it’s not a graphics error on my part? Male Au Ra face 4.

It's there.
I didn't really think so at first until I put on the same Face Paint.
Without a face paint that's around the eyes the black lines melts into the rest of the natural shadows so I couldn't even tell that they were there at first.
The black lines are the "inner" parts of the eyelids.
Parts of the eyelids that isn't effected by any paints.

I just wanna say that every face have those lines.
Not sure if they did before, but they do in Benchmark 2.0

My issue with my aura when I took him through benchmark was that the upper liner was harder to see. I thinks sadly a preference thing as I like it darker

And that's why it should be an option where you can choose if you want eyeliner and how dark it should be. That way, everyone can be happy.

but its already in the game as either nothing or dark. i do not think SE is going to add transparency filter to it
