Community Event Rewards - Ahriman/Mandragora Chokers?

What happened to the Ahriman and Mandragora chokers?

These were previously available as prizes through community events and sweepstakes and I was always looking forward to trying to earn/win one, but for so long now it has only been the same 4 rewards (bluebird/galecat/cloud/barding) which do not interest me but I really, really want the chokers on so many of my characters.

Will they ever be returning?

If they've been retired can they be added to mogtome events or the achievement vendor or something?
Why were they removed as options when new rewards were added? There's no other way to obtain them...
