What do you mean exactly? Aside from the texture and mesh errors we've discovered in here, everything else is subjective. Clearly it's "as bad as we think it is" because otherwise we wouldn't think it. You're free to think it's however you want when it's a matter of opinion. In ours, we would like the graphical update to keep things more faithful to the original look and that's important to us. It's also what they stated was their goal during live events.

The point I was trying to illustrate is that this thread in general is very misleading because it’s mostly walls of text and giant picture posts from a few very active forum members. I am voicing my observations. I’m really interested in how many people are actually angry with these changes, because as of right now it doesn’t appear to be many. Except for fangs most seem to like the miqo’te changes overall.

I’m also watching this thread to see if anything meaningful happens. I’m sure the few people keeping this thread alive are going to keep me informed on every tiny detail/change that happens to face 4.

You do realize that the pictures have a point, right? They're not just random pictures. They're illustrating the issues. Like, lmao my friend. If you don't have anything productive to add just lurk as you seem so keen to do despite continuing to talk.

Also, if your complaint is it's so "misleading" with the number of posts it has, then you coming to complain and pointlessly inflate the numbers and bump it back up is just contributing to your own complaint. Cheers!

I remember back in the day when me and some people have a issue with AMD CPU crackling the sound in the game, this problem makes the game unplayable with any sound turned on, we have something like 80 pages, and between those 80 pages there are useful data about the problem, and about 13 days later a mod repply saying that the they are sending the issue to SE with all the data we are providing, the people that are responsible to do this job are not lazy to not see all the pages, is their job to do that.

What i mean is, if SE have a team to gather feedback and possible bugs about the actual benchmark in this specific forum, they are going to dig on the pages gathering data.

Ah yes, the good old passive aggressive behavior accompanied by backhanded comments.

We're not misleading anyone, so far this thread has been feedback, observations, speculations/breakdowns on observations which is on topic. The thread has people who frequent it and engage with people who provide feedback and at times each other. There's no other medium for this 'open discussion' anywhere. No discord, no private dms, no reddit, no twitter etc..

Yeah I mean, I don’t know who you think is trying to mislead anyone or why, but this thread is exactly what it says on the tin. Feedback and discussion about moon miqote face 4. At least for my part I’ve been very careful to be transparent about what I’m not sure of, what is my opinion, and what is objective every step of the way. I’ve even gone back to edit the OP several times to clean it up, correct things, clarify language or make amendments when we get new information.

And even if you disagree with my and others sentiment about the facial feature changes, there’s other value here. Because of this thread we’ve discovered issues that may have gone under the radar until later, like the problems with the eyelid mesh or chunks of the lash texture ending up on the face texture at the corners of the eyes. Thats stuff that should get fixed even if we don’t get stuff like the fangs or lip gap back. I guess I just don’t understand where you’re coming from with this. Feels like a chip on the shoulder for no reason. You don’t have to watch the thread.

Sincerely, it is the eyelashes what bother me the most.

I appreciate the minimalistic makeup added to our Face 4 characters (even if I did not add any to this one) and the lashes gives off the appearance of synthetic eyelashes by how full they are.
It is not so noticeable when running benchmark cutscenes but it is still too much when in still motion.

It’s lurking to voice my opinion in a thread I have an interest in? I’m a lurker because I disagree with you? I’ve seen the photos of the “changes” and they do exist but it doesn’t mean they are horrible changes that’s my point. Also why do the portraits need to be a half a page? You all can’t show side by side comparisons in smaller picture’s?

I don’t have a chip on my shoulder because I disagree that the changes are bad. So I want to understand this correctly, I point out it’s only a few people complaining and I have seen the pictures and don’t agree. My opinion is that the changes are GOOD ones so now I’m a bad girl because I shouldn’t be in a thread about the face 4 miqo’te FEEDBACK? I never said that the pictures were misleading at all, nor did I say that your observations were incorrect on the changes made. What I said is that the length of the thread is misleading because it’s only a few people posting. I also said because of the fact it’s only a few people posting are the changes really that bad. That is exactly what I said. It isn’t passive aggressive to post that I will watch to see what happens and that you all will keep it going with every change made. How is that bad? You got hostile with me because I made the observation that it was only a few of you doing most the posting. I could care less if you reach 100 pages because your thread is about feedback on face 4 not “omg face 4 unacceptable”.

I want my feedback to be seen too. For me, this thread is great because it shows exactly how much better face 4 changes are with comparisons to the old. It’s my opinion. I like the thread and hope you continue. This isn’t sarcasm or passive aggressiveness. It’s how I feel about it. So the summary of changes are:

Nose bump gone- my opinion is I think it looks better
Mouth gap- not that cute to me, it’s ok being gone
More eyelashes-awesome imo
No more waterline showing on top lid-looks so much better
Moon fangs changed-I don’t like this either
Grey nose line- don’t like it either, but it’s barely noticeable
Clan marks moved slightly on the face under eye- is this really an issue? It’s not to me
Eye shading on eyelid right on the lash line- looks fine, it’s not a tragedy.
Less shading on nose- looks cuter light pink- I like it

I think most these changes (except maybe the nose line) are intentionally made by the developers.

Besides the lashes, most of these things are not noticeable to most people, even the people who play face 4. I’m not a mean girl for saying it nor am I bad for replying in a thread about feedback. When you say “I’m not here in good faith” what you really mean is “I hope people think you are a troll and won’t listen to you anymore”. Right?
