Graphic Update - Male Viera Face 3

Hello everybody!

1) Face 3, Face Shape 3:
Endwalker had a more defined and prominent face shape. Through the Dawntrail Benchmark it became more round and soft. Somehow also wider, which takes away the effect of the hooked Nose Type 5. Endwalker felt more individual. With the changed face shape and overwork in general comes a specific shadow around the chin, mostly left and right from the chin. Don't know if others noticed, but it looks somehow dirty in different lights. That wasn't the case for Endwalker.

2) Face 3, Eye Shape 4:
Dawntrail Benchmark got rid off the longer lashes, which came with Endwalker Eye shape 4. The eye feel smaller and the lash line less full compared to Endwalker. I love pretty lashes, Endwalker gave them a more feminine touch, which was nice. The lightning in general of the eyes in Dawntrail benchmark could be better, the character doesn't feel as lively as they did in Endwalker.

3) Face 3, Mouth Type 2:
Endwalkers mouth was more defined and the upper lip was more pointy in comparsion to Dawntrail benchmark. The lips became more round and lacked of depth. Endwalker lips had more shading.

Amid all my other characters having more describable changes, my Viera with this face just feels off.

I agree with this feedback, as someone who also plays a face 3 Viera. The faces and features feel overall homogenized, which is a shame.

I'm also a Face 3 player, and after lots of agonizing and fiddling through different options, I think I'll be playing through Dawntrail as Mi'qote. Keeping fingers crossed for an update to these models between now and then, but I'm not particularly optimistic about it.

I have multiple Face 3s with different features, skin colours, eye colours, and nose dustings... and all of them were hit bad. My main Rava most of all, which really hurt to see. My guys look like they've been through the ringer. I love, love, love playing as male Viera but if this continues, yeah, I may have to consider using the fantasia to become a different race.

Hello everyone!

Thank you for your feedback, because i absolutely feel the same.
I have some saved male Vieras with face 1, 2 and 3.
But face 3 was the most frustrating to see among them, while every other race got an upgrade, we just got an downgrade.
Even though its very helpful to see, that we share this opinion, fingers crossed, that they change it as fast as possible.
Because I'm not willing to change into a different race and give up my main viera :C

as someone who also plays face 3 mviera, I'm actually very satisfied with the change on my character. I see that your screenshots have valid critiques and it's unfortunate you're unhappy with it. :[ it may be whatever combination of jaw shape and mouth shape that my wol uses (unable to check rn, sorry), but I liked him a whole lot better without even adjusting his appearance data at all!
